My quick rating - 5,1/10. Basically the dictionary definition of a decent movie for one viewing. The acting is solid in this gangster drama which focuses more on the main character Saul Williams as Akilla trying to save a young adult from heading down the crime path that he was raised on. He saves the kid when he is trying to rob the wrong people, and Akilla decides to try and save him. Throughout the movie, flashbacks show how the current kids life is reminding him of his notorious past and where it got him. It is put together well so the aspects of the movie making process are all solid enough, including a really good soundtrack that works well. Just not something that you bitch about, but also nothing you are going to ring your friends up to let them know. I am writing right after it ends because I am sure this one will be out of mind within days. Catch it if you enjoy a crime story that is far more focused on the emotional side than the action and you won't be disappointed I just doubt you'll be adding it to your collection. I'm not.
