Aliens, Clowns & Geeks (2019)

Updated: Jan 28, 2023

My quick rating - 3,0/10. I have NO idea what to expect with this one. But I will first make sure you all know I don't do drugs. And even if I did do drugs, I still don't think this crap would be funny. The story is directly out of the mouth of some child with a good imagination. Aliens and clowns are both chasing after a secret relic to rule the world and pits them against each other. But to develop a kids dream, our author/director Richard Elfman has to throw in some perverted adolescent humor and constant pointless sex scenes to make sure it is an adult flick. Admittedly a few times the jokes do work and made me laugh but the hit to miss ratio is astoundingly against it being in the favor of the audience. I shouldn't have to tell you the effects are non-existent. Also a couple scenes are sprinkled in to just get that psychedelic feel in there. They were dumb then but now just look silly when they don't even apply. But who would be in such a flick, well it is a weird one so maybe it read as interesting enough to get French Stewart to climb aboard along with what has to be the reason this is seeing the light of day with Verne Troyer being the head evil clown. Sad note for this to be his last film so hopefully it was a fun film shoot since the final product is nothing anyone would purposely put on their resume. You have been warned but hey, they got George Wendt to appear in it so maybe you just want to see NORM again.

If for some reason you still want to see this, Amazon has it by clicking the poster below but to be honest, to pay for it, check TubiTV or FreeVee with ads (Amazon owned).
