My quick rating - 3,4/10. Yes, this movie is awful. The killer "rabbit" which looks far more like a mutated rat, is absolutely a sight to see. If the first time you see it, you are not laughing out loud, literally, you have to be blind. There is no other reaction then laughter and OMG that should be uttered. After that initial shock of the imaginative way to get around having any cgi or effects budget, you may appreciate it for its absurd simplicity. I found myself continually laughing at this movie, so it surely achieved that purpose. Unfortunately in being campy as hell, it way over did scenes especially with the awful mayor character. Between him, and the lead lunatic dog catcher who all seem terrified of squirrels (must be an inside joke), scenes with them just go on and on which drag down the rest of the film. Believe it or not, it may have been decent with its silliness if so much time wasn't wasted on those two. Oh, the plot, a giant rabbit appears and begins killing everyone in a small town. That is it. They nailed the tropes in this one, with a great boob scene that was done so well to fit that usual "for no reason" nudity a good campy flick needs. Sometimes movies are tailor made to be ripped on, and this one is just that. The best part is they knew it full well and embraced it. Sometimes I have to keep a bad movie because it is just so funny. This is one of those times.
