My quick rating - 5.1/10. Definitely better than the IMDB numbers say, although with such low amounts, it could be the opposite of the normal 10s from workers, but could be 1s from haters. The movie plays out as a big slap to the evil in healthcare. I am sure that was an underlying thought as they crafted a story of the devil having his hands in the treatment of patients in this flick. A father is desperate to prove that this company (Hemlock Group) is poisoning children, including his daughter, and kidnaps the head honcho of the company. This is when strange things begin to happen around him and his friends as the hold him hostage trying to get the truth, but instead are bombarded with hallucinations. Stalking them is the kidnapper's bodyguard, who will stop at nothing to keep him safe (including the best scene of the flick). The visions continue and seem to get more intense as the pressure on the bigwig escalates. Overall, the whole thing at times is quite hokey, but much better than I expected, and when I am still thinking the day after about a flick, it has at least done something right. Well, unless I am making fun of just how bad it was, and this isn't one of them. Decent B-budget flick for a quick escape from reality.
