My quick rating - 3,7/10. Ok, I'll admit that the title got my attention, and it is horror. It seems Vudu by Fandango is the only place to see this one (wink wink plex users). Starting off with an introduction by Tony Todd is a plus as he informs us of the story of the first black serial killer ever to wear a mask. It seemed like it was going to be an anthology flick but it is a single story. I have already pointed out the highlight of this one so let's get to the story in between. This is your everyday revenge flick where the "different" kid is picked on and beaten up, although more violently since this involves slashing his face up with a razor blade. I think what they are banking on making this different though is the fact the entire cast is black. I wouldn't have really given that a thought until it was pointed out repeatedly on IMDB. If that is an accomplishment, then they have that I guess. What they don't have is a good flick. I did however like the style his vengeance was presented in. "Bitch Ass" (yes, that is his nickname) was a big fan of games, think board games, not video games, and used a challenge for each foe to play against him with the prize being survival. So in a comic book-style pane, the matchups would be shown and it did give it a touch of something different. But the actual games themselves didn't lend much in the entertainment part. Aside from playing the real-life "Operation" game. That one had me laughing for sure. I was really hoping since that was early on they were going to get really creative with them but no such luck. They peaked way too early with that one. The rest of it ended up being a mundane matter of less-than-stellar kills that seemed to be hampered by budget. Good news if you do enjoy this one, they are clearly setting up a sequel! Funny thing is I know myself all too well and will end up checking it out.
