My quick rating - 5,9/10. Recent streamer on Netflix and I am a big fan of Noomi Rapace so time to check this one out. Oh, this scene of the bodies in the ice they are attempting to skate across is eerie as hell. Quick sum up as I am watching, this group of militants are trying to get across this archipelago to deliver some mysterious capsules during a non-descript post-apocalyptic war. The action scenes are done really well in this one. My biggest gripe was how well the story unfolded throughout the crossing of the ice and the entire trip and then all of a sudden, the movie switches gears and seems to rush through. At almost 2 hours, there was plenty of time to tell the story properly so I am unsure why the immediate rush was as if they couldn't go another 20 minutes OR edit some of the nonsense earlier on out. But I did appreciate the writer's ability to demonstrate that in their world, there really aren't any good guys, just what level of bad are they. So when facing a moral dilemma it is up to which ones will be less evil. Acting-wise, they nailed all involved, especially Rapace who was ideal for her role. As long as you don't mind some dubbing since this is a Swedish flick. I really could see this one having more story to tell in their fictional world and the ending does allow for more to happen. I would've been happy watching another hour without issue so bring on a sequel or take this as a pilot and give me a series.
