My quick rating - 5.8/10. I did like the story that they focused on, but it seems so much was left to either the introduction of typing on a computer screen or for you to piece together all the things that should have been happening. Instead, we are merely keen on the interaction between the human cop (Goodman) and a local boy (Sanders) who is fighting for the resistance in this alien occupation film. What they did have was good, with an intricate enough plot, but I will warn you. Pay attention, not because it is overly confusing, but they take a lot of storytelling visually, often with long scenes with no speaking at all. At one point, I checked the soundbar to make sure it was still on. In the world that is now under extra-terrestrial control, a resistance hides underground, and our story here revolves around the Chicago version. The effects of the "roaches," as they are called, are pretty good and surely a step away from the norm for the ETs. Not a bad watch.
