Double Threat (2022)

My quick rating - 3,6/10. You would think by the camera quality, editing, music, etc. that you may get a decent action flick but then the story starts and you realize it has been written by a fourth-grader who just learned about dissociative identity disorder. The use of that is interesting but the whole plot is absolute garbage along with some really poor acting. Basically, with ruthless mobsters on her tail, a young woman (Danielle C. Ryan) with a split personality becomes entangled with a man on a pilgrimage across the country to scatter his brother's ashes. The choice of actor for this character is so off it becomes distracting. The obligatory romantic angle they had to interject in there is atrocious. And then they felt the need to double down on the romance angle. I have seen far better uses of this condition in other flix that were not so cheesy. Heck, just go stream, Moon Knight. The few times they go for the action thing fails miserably. I honestly have no idea how this flick got a green light. If you click the link to see where you could watch, you'll notice how few choices there are and which they happen to be. Directly proportional to the quality of the film. If interested, there is a small area to watch so click HERE to see where it is available. Oh, and leaving it open for a sequel. I sincerely will not watch if they do bother.
