My quick rating - 3.3/10. Call it morbid curiosity. Oh, wow, these effects are horrible. Do these people know standing across the street from a tornado isn't exactly considered a safe distance? This flick is already insanely laughable, so I really hope they weren't shooting for a serious flick. A sightseeing group, along with a scientist, goes to check out a tornado that seems to just hang out in one place. Then one guy flies his drone into it and supposedly alters the size of it using some nonsense mumbo jumbo, and it grows out of control and starts down a massively predictable path with extremely safe results that they are able to drive ahead and warn others off. While all this stupidity is occurring, some criminals are robbing a mob accountant in the natural disaster trajectory. Or at least I thought tornadoes are a natural occurrence, and I also don't believe they happen very often in the U.K., but then again, this one is on fire, so all taken with a grain, forget that, a warehouse full of salt. The effects of this one are so uneven, since if you don't pay attention to anything but the actual tornado, it looks good, but then everything else is just so poor it's a joke. The CGI artist had a good handle on making that twister look nice, but completely failed on the superimposing of it on any sort of landscape. I would be doing those people's names that appear on the poster a disservice by pointing out they were in this flick, since I am sure they would prefer to leave it in the rear-view mirror. All around it is exactly what you would expect, so I have no room to complain about it. If it attempted to take itself seriously, then I would bitch, but since it doesn't and gave me a few chuckles through it, I can't say much more.
