My quick rating - 4,5/10. In all honesty, this movie is not very good. I am not saying the obvious, I mean in relation to other Friday the 13th flix. The kills are extremely tame first off and you don't even get that one signature creative kill. The teleporting feature that Jason must use to get to his victims is way too accentuated in how silly it is as well. The main draw that I remember having when this came out was seeing Jason in what would be a playground for his massacre, New York City. But we only really get about 15 minutes for this and it seems he was always so dead set on getting the two from the ship that got him there to worry about wandering around to kill random people. Let's face it, that is what you wanted to see here. Definitely, a missed opportunity to really let him loose. At least this one has the best Jason, Kane Hodder. Still deserves to be part of the collection for any horror fan and mine just got upgraded to 1080P.
