My quick rating - 5,3/10. Been a while since I gave shuffle a spin, so I set it to scifi and it grabbed this. An attractive cast in this one (sarcasm). An intermission? This one actually has some fancy concession break in it. This is the definition of a love it or hate it flick so I am playing both sides. Gary Green wakes up after a night of binge drinking and realizes he has been abducted by aliens which left a bring within himself to experience what life is like as a human. Yes, it sounds a bit strange which is part of the fun of the half art and half grindhouse nature of this one. Green, playing Barry, seems made for this role as he meanders through seemingly unrelated incidents throughout various clubs, warehouses, and other parts of the community. The bizarre scenes sometimes assault your senses with strobing lights and pounding music while others are more psychedelic just playing with your imagination. The way Barry reacts will often bring in some humor since he seems so childlike and innocent with everything being something new and fresh to him. But it gets lost within itself at some point just layering on subplot after subplot to the point it gets tedious sometimes going unresolved. The first half or so was a bit more fun in following Barry though in his strange sexual encounters and extreme prowess which after you see him you'll understand why it is amusing. The final wrap-up will be appealing to some but also a letdown since after all, you endure to get to it, you surely expect something more. I could see this one being a bit of a cult type flick down the road due to just how different it is. It is violent, and includes your gratuitous nudity with a very dark sense of humor.
