My quick rating - 5,3/10. A time travel flick that has some gran ideas that just do not completely come to fruition. Having the students building this time travel machine at Miskatonic University should pretty much clue you in on the writers were getting in way over their own heads. Even poor versions of Lovecraft related material can lead to decent movies though. The usual problems arise and throughout the story being unfolded, often backwards, you will learn their whole story, just not the whole story since some parts were just not developed enough. IMDB has tons of 1s, that is called dumb people. Yes, you will have to pay full attention just so you can realize it doesn't all add up anyway.
