My quick rating - 6,3/10. You can give me these two actors, and tell me it is them sitting face to face tossing pieces of uncooked pasta at each other, and I would still watch it. Getting Keitel in a movie these days is a chore as it is, and McDowell is more approachable and still holds the screen. Here we are viewing the story of the Maltese rejecting the British occupation in 1919. This flick though really focuses more on a couple of the locals coming to terms with this dependence on the British, and of what makes them innocent or enemy. It never really gets very dramatic and the leads are rarely used. Still when they are onscreen, they hold your attention but really are not there for much more than selling points. I would've liked to have seen more of each but that was just not for this flick to explore. (aka Blood on the Crown )
