My quick rating - 6,5/10. Another one of those times where the description does the movie no justice. This is sort of like "Fight Club" which if you have seen that, then you know I can't tell you anything about fight club BUT I can tell you about this. What seems to be a flick about an underground fight den turns out to be more of a noir crime thriller. A surprisingly good use of stale and dim lighting and then bright colors for odd accents to other things such as character names, just makes what would be a dull warehouse like backdrop a bit better. Music wise the score works and is varied like you have seen in other pics that like to bop around genres without focusing on the one. The cast of characters is varied as well and acted out accordingly. Some great use of creativity to keep the story flowing, often in flashback, and time shifting scenes does take some getting used to since if you think this is going to be your standard underground fighting flick, you'll get lost. Going in blind will make this one better, so I'll let you do so. The movie could've been better due to that confusion thing, but overall a well done and unheard of flick (for me at least). If interested, Amazon prime has it and I am sure others do as well.
