My quick rating - 7,5/10. "I performed and filmed this new comedy special at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA in early January 2023. It includes a lot of the same material that was in my livestream "Back To The Garden," but it also has a bunch of other stuff that wasn't in that show. Including a totally different closing chunk of jokes. And it is shot more carefully and with more and better cameras. And better editing. I like to think of it this way: "Back To The Garden" was the live concert, and "Louis C.K. at The Dolby" is the album." As long as you are a fan of his humor, you will be satisfied with this one. He likes too casually allude to the issues he has had over the years throughout this set to some degrees of success. Most of the jokes in this one were new to me so I was entertained to a reasonable extent. Brisk hour that starts off abruptly with another comedian finishing up his set so you can tell this was haphazardly put together but overall, worth watching. I am very bland with my standup reviews. I need to work on that, but I don't really give myself the same luxury as movies or TV since I often watch these while I am working. I usually type in notes as I am watching the aforementioned flix which I cannot do while I am pulling double duty with these stand up shows.
