My quick rating - 7,0/10. Modern treasure hunters, led by archaeologist Ben Gates, search for a chest of riches rumored to have been stashed away by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin during the Revolutionary War. The chest's whereabouts may lie in secret clues embedded in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, and Gates is in a race to find the gold before his enemies do. Still a nicely written, albeit far-fetched story that the "secret societies" must love. I personally find all this stuff fascinating. Also one of Cage's few movies that doesn't have the massively overacted scene in it. If you are a fan of the everyday man adventure, this one is right up your alley. Quality scenery for the tombs and good cinematography throughout make this one a good one for the collection.
