My quick rating - 3.8/10. This flick is unnecessarily confusing. The premise is very straightforward, but the continuity and editing end up making it far from it. Even the synopsis of the flick leads to confusion, "three friends realize something unexpected is pulling the strings," and you aren't really sure if there are 3 or 4 at times. The truth is 4, but I guess the ones who wrote the synopsis were in on confusing the audience. So on their way to some festival (i think they mentioned Coachella, not important), an engaged couple, a friend, and the mute brother are the ones terrorized. But the brothers are also very well known for online pranks via their website "Terror Eyes," so who knows who is doing it? Well, you do know quite easily, but play along. At times, the thrills are somewhat decent, and then it gets dragged down by sheer lazy writing. And the acting, especially by the bit players who are stalking the group, is awful. This is one of the cases where you have seen far worse, but that still doesn't make this one good. I never really cared about any of the characters, and the situations they were in always seemed self-inflicted. Just made for a thriller lacking thrills.
