The Adventures Of Maid Marian (2022)

My quick rating - 2.8/10. I was just looking for something short that is half paying attention and recent. And half attention is more than this one deserves. I feel like this is what happened. They were going to perform a high school play and had a difficult time getting the forest backdrop set built, so they decided to go out across the street and use the actual forest preserve. That is the extent of budget and talent we have going in this one. I am unsure how this is Marian's story (played by Sophie Craig) since it is basically assisting Robin in his usual quest. Speaking of Robin, his character was atrocious in this flick. He got his ass beat when confronted, apparently doesn't use a bow in this rendition, and doesn't seem to have any goals. Marian helps him break away from the sheriff and then gets set up for murdering some other woman, so they are both on the run. The fighting in this is no different than your little brother's sword fighting with Wiffle ball bats. This was just a mess from start to finish, and if it weren't using the Robin Hood lore, this would be as bad as it gets. Don't get suckered into this one.
