My quick rating - 3,5/10. Oh boy, wake me when this ends...Oh, it is over, well let's briefly talk about this one. If you cannot see the biggest problem with this found footage movie the second you look at the poster, you really aren't thinking. The biggest mistake you can possibly make if you are selling the "found" nonsense is having an actual star (a bit dated but still well known) in your movie. The faux credibility you are trying to achieve with the whole handi cam style is completely gone. That aside, this is yet another poor example (as most of them are) of the first-person lost film. I kind of wish it just stayed lost actually. This one is more or less two parts. The first is leading up to the brother's disappearance. Slow and not well put together at ALL. The acting throughout the whole flick is stiff as it is but couple that with a lack of any tension and you are going downhill quick. The second half is I saw it was where the use of the found footage came in. And strangely this was the part I thought was better. At that point, the clips did a decent job of being creepy and did develop a bit of mystery about what happened to our missing sibling. Trying to piece together the clues in the videos was a bit better done. Still, trying to be so positive is difficult since once they are wrapped up and the movie has an ending it still continues on just hanging around past its due. Only for hardcore fans of the genre or people who are having a hard time sleeping. Beyond that, this is exactly what you have seen before and not worth your #shocktober time.
