My quick rating - 5,5/10. Good to see a Tremors sequel that keeps true to the characters, well, the monster characters that is, but also strays a bit away from the forced comedic tone that nearly all the sequels had. If you aren't acquainted with the series, 1 and 2 are must watch, then after that they are all take it or leave it until this one. This time the graboids and assblasters are holed up on an island and some big game hunters think they will be using them as victims. I am sure you can see where that goes wrong. Michael Gross has somehow found his way into the fray and as with all the Tremor flix, is the shining spot. For some reason they decided to bring Jon Heder in for Jamie Kennedy. I see that as a step directly sidewise. They need to find someone to take that second spot, assuming this franchise continues. I think the budget drags this one down a bit but it was still creatively done to keep the fun going. So now with the genetically modified gigantic graboids and minions of shriekers, the whole island turns into a warzone. If you are a fan, you will be happy with this return to a bit darker version of the films while still retaining a bit of the humor these have been known for. If these are new to you, at least find the first one before jumping into this.
