My quick rating - 4.3/10. Ok, I got duped into grabbing a Lifetime movie, so to punish myself for my stupidity, I am actually going to watch it. If this isn't the most obvious crap disguised as a mystery, I have no idea what is. I can see why I avoid these flix like the plague. They are cookie-cutter simplistic with average production values. I haven't seen many of these, but they are always the same stuff by the synopsis. In this one, a mother, Kelsey Flower, is kidnapped and then reappears on the street of her home. Fast forward a year later, when her insane mother comes to visit and constantly digs at her for her son's (Flowers' husband) death. Well, after the typical family banter and arguing, etc., the Mom gets kidnapped again. OR is she crazy and just left? Then, for the next hour or so, they try to force-feed you what they want you to believe is going on. And they try REALLY hard to make that so. I cannot say more without spoilers, but you'll get my meaning if you also lose a bet and are forced to watch this. It isn't like this is the worst thing streaming, so I am sure I am giving it a far more demeaning wrap than it deserves. But there is also so much better on and so many choices, I just highly doubt you could be so caught up that you can't find something better to watch for 90 minutes.
