My quick rating - 4.7/10. This is not a good movie. I have to start by pointing that out. Is it odd? Yep, having an entire movie with not a single word uttered by Nic Cage is strange. And with him fighting against possessed animatronic murderous Chuck E Cheese (for me, it was Showbiz Pizza Place, anyone else) attractions? Cult status or nothing here. That is what you get along with the usual stupid kids, especially being terrified of the place yet taking a time out to go screw. The point is, Willy's Wonderland has been condemned when kids were attacked and killed at the place (don't worry, the movie takes a really long time mid-movie to fully explain the why) so being inside and having a sex session makes perfect sense, right? But this movie is meant to be silly and stupid. Oil spewing replaces the blood as Cage needs to dispatch of the dolls in brutal fashion. The character of the janitor is, I find, quite annoying. At points, I was trying to figure out if he was deaf. He just ignores everything seemingly said and has no interest in doing anything but cleaning this place. Oh, he is there since his car tire blew, and when he couldn't pay for the repair, he agreed to clean the place up in exchange for fixing his car. The death that ensues is just another day in the life. A theory I saw about this movie was that it was actual footage shot by a reality crew following Nic Cage on a typical night out. I like to think that one is true. Totally up to you, but just know what you are getting into. The ending kind of made me cringe, and not for the right reason, either. See if you agree on that if you watch as well.
