My quick rating - 2.4/10. Some horrible acting in this flick. I am at this stranger's house, and my friends are disappearing. I think I'll take a bath. Those thoughts aside, while watching, after this mess finished, I could only think one thing: What in the world happened to Michael Madsen? This movie is so far below his acting skills. Then again, we see other once were top-notch actors doing garbage lately, so who is to say? So we have "a group of college students spend a night at an old, eerie manor, only to realize that a terrifying stalker is watching," and let me pick that description apart. The "old house" isn't old in the slightest, more a completely kept up estate including an indoor bowling alley, tennis courts, a gated entrance, etc., and the "terrifying" stalker is some dude wearing a mask you can buy at K-Mart around Halloween time. There is some nonsense thrown about in this regarding the house being built upon an Indian burial ground, but I only call it nonsense since it has almost nothing to do with what is going on. Oh, and then all of a sudden, it is essential to the movie. Seems this was scribbled on cocktail napkins on a Madsen bender one night and churned together into a flick. There is little, if anything, in this to call horror, and more just uses that excuse to get made. Well, it worked, and I watched it. Sadly, it all ends up being a cash grab for the plot in the movie, and for Madsen himself. It did make sure to hit the horror trope of boobs, though, since not only as I mentioned did one girl decide to bathe at this kid's house. Oh, sorry, his parents own the estate after stealing the land from the Indians. Anyway, one of the other chicks decides to hop in the shower as well. All things I would think women would most likely not do at someone's house they have just met. No massacre, not a single kill to even laugh along with, just plain laughing in general at how bad this is. Side note, this has to be a record for the number of fake ratings on IMDB. This is at a 5.4 after 1,500 votes, and not ONE review has anything positive to say. That is a lot of people clicking 10 for no good reason. Mr. Blonde must know a lot of people
